Coffee and Alcohol- what’s not to love about the Espresso Martini! Here at Bean to Door we have conducted plenty of valuable research to perfect our espresso martini cocktail recipe. It’s smooth, punchy and super delicious! Traditionally it is made using Kahluha however we have used Cross Brew Coffee Liquor to really emphasise the coffee flavour and it works a treat. It’s a really quick and easy recipe, so grab your shaker and let’s begin!
- 1 Part Good Quality Vodka
- 1 Part Cross Brew Coffee Liquor
- 1 1/2 Parts ‘Bean to Door’ Espresso Coffee (cold) *
- 1/2 Part Sugar Syrup
- 3 Whole Coffee Beans (optional
*If you don’t have an espresso machine you can make a concentrate with 20g of coffee and 50ml water brewed for 6 mins.
-Chill your glasses in a fridge
-Add your ingredients to the shaker along with plenty of ice.
-Shake Shake Shake
– Pour into chilled glasses and top with the espresso beans
-Sit back and enjoy!
Why not experiment with other sugar syrups- you can use a variety of flavours such as ; vanilla, chocolate, caramel or spices.
Try using frozen espresso ice cubes for an extra coffee hit.
Replace the vodka with rum and use a coconut syrup for a totally tropical flavour.
